Terms of Use — GunZ Brasil

1. Acceptance

By accessing gunz.com.br ("GunZ Brasil", "the site", "we"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms apply to all visitors, including anyone who creates an account to use the chat.

2. What GunZ Brasil is

GunZ Brasil is a fan-made community site dedicated to the game GunZ: The Duel. We gather news, guides, server status, rankings, crosshair files and a community chat. We are not affiliated with Masangsoft or the owners of the GunZ: The Duel trademark. All trademarks mentioned belong to their respective owners.

3. Accounts and chat

Joining the chat requires signing in with a Google account and choosing a username. By using the chat, you agree to:

not post content that is illegal, offensive, discriminatory, defamatory or that violates third-party rights;
not spam, advertise without authorization, phish or impersonate others (including site or game staff);
not use the chat for harassment or to share other people's personal data without consent;
choose a username that is not offensive and does not imitate the site or game staff.

Moderators may, at their sole discretion and without prior notice, remove messages, temporarily mute users, ban accounts and remove usernames that violate these rules. The chat does not display message history from before you joined, but messages are stored in our systems for moderation and safety purposes, as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Your content

You are solely responsible for the content you post in the chat. By posting, you grant us a free, non-exclusive license to display that content within the site, limited to the operation of the service. We may remove any content that violates these terms or the law.

5. Downloads

Files available in the crosshairs section are provided "as is", without warranties. They are image files created by the community over the years, for use with the game's official custom crosshair feature. Use is at your own risk; always respect the game's own terms of service.

6. Third-party data

Online player counts, status, official notices and rankings shown on the site come from public third-party sources (such as Steam and the game's global server). We strive to display them faithfully, but we do not guarantee accuracy, availability or freshness of that data, which may change without notice.

7. Intellectual property

GunZ: The Duel, its trademark, logos and game materials belong to their respective owners. GunZ Brasil's original editorial content (texts, guides, the site's visual identity) belongs to the site and may not be reproduced commercially without permission. If you are a rights holder and believe content here infringes your rights, contact us and we will remove it.

8. Advertising

The site may display third-party ads, including ads served by Google (such as Google AdSense). Advertisers may use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of advertised sites.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use (or inability to use) the site, the chat, the downloads or the information displayed.

10. Changes

We may change these terms at any time. The current version will always be on this page, with the update date at the top. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new version.
